The Philips HeartStart OnSite AED is a device made for all rescuers, even those with little or no training with an automated external defibrillator. This device is FDA-approved for home use and is one of the few AED devices that does not need a physician's prescription.

This device features SMART Analysis technology that can automatically detect an abnormal heart rhythm. If the shock button is pressed, the SMART Analysis technology will determine if the shock is needed, reducing the concern about shocking someone unnecessarily.
